Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This policy explains what [SITE_NAME] (“we”, “us”) collects when you use [SITE_DOMAIN], and what we do with it.
The short version
The tools on this site do not send your data anywhere. Every formatter, converter, generator and analyser runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Text you paste and files you upload are processed on your own device and never transmitted to us. We could not read them if we wanted to — there is no server receiving them.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on the site. You will see no outbound request carrying your content.
What we do not collect
- The text, code, JSON, or documents you paste into any tool
- Images or files you drop into the image and hash tools
- Passwords, API keys, tokens or secrets generated or decoded here
- Any account information, because there are no accounts
Nothing above is stored, logged, or transmitted, because none of it ever leaves your device.
What is collected automatically
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, browser user agent, referring page, and the URL requested. This is used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Local storage. Some tools remember your preferences — an indent width, a selected format — using your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies and advertising
We do not set tracking cookies of our own.
If advertising is enabled on this site, our advertising partner (Google, via AdSense) may set cookies to serve and measure ads. Where this applies, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set, and no advertising script is loaded until you agree.
Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings, and review how Google handles data at Google's Privacy & Terms.
If you decline, the site works exactly the same — every tool is fully functional without consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing.
In practice we hold very little: server logs, and nothing tied to an identity. If you would like to make a request, contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Third parties
The site is hosted by a third-party provider, which processes requests on our behalf and maintains the server logs described above.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else. There is very little to share.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
